Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb Tissue Face Mask REVIEW

Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb Tissue Face Mask REVIEW

It's that time are the year where it's starting to get colder and all of the moisture is sucked out of your skin. As much as I love autumn, I hate what the weather does to my skin and I find it really difficult to replenish the moisture loss without using thick creams which clog my pores massively. In a recent Glamour magazine, there was a sample for the new Garnier Moisture Bomb moisturiser so, as I'm always up for trying new skincare products, I tried it out and ended up loving it. This line is aimed towards people with dehydrated skin and, as I have oily skin, I was surprised that it worked out and kept me matte for the entire day!

In my local supermarket, they had an offer on for these tissue masks where they were only £1! I wanted to try if because, like I said, my skin gets super dry and the moisturiser seemed to work amazingly so why wouldn't the mask? I picked one up and I'm kind of sad that I only picked one up because every time I go in now, they never seem to have it which is quite upsetting.

I found it quite difficult to get the mask in contact with my skin fully but managed to maneuver it so that it covered most of my face. The actual tissue mask is covered with a "cover" which, I think as it is made out of thicker material, gives the tissue more stability and means you can stretch it without any tears. I struggled to get the blue cover off and it started to lift off the tissue which made the whole thing really frustrating but I got there in the end. It was saturated with quite a lot of product so it clung easily and meant I could walk around while still wearing it instead of having to lay down.  While wearing it, I could feel a little tingly sensation so I was a little scared that my skin was going to break out after, but all went well. The 15 minutes went by super fast and I massaged the excess that was on my face into my skin and the rest that was left in the packet into my chest, arms, stomach, and thighs and they tend to get really dry in the colder months. I could definitely feel a difference in my skin and I found that I could go without my normal heavy moisturiser for another 2 days. My skin looked refreshed and felt so much plumper.

I would definitely recommend this product for all skin types in the winter as the formula is quite light and sinks in super fast. Also, it is quite an amusing thing to look at. Overall, I really think everyone should try this mask as it is only £1 and does wonders for the skin!

Sorry that my posts have been inconsistent recently, I'm working on getting them back to normal very soon!
