You will find many articles, forums, and blogs on Fibromyalgia and Headaches out there. Those of us that have Fibromyalgia may also suffer from severe headaches. We may not in the beginning, but it could develop later down the line.
This is one area that I am very familiar with as since day one I have suffered from a constant headache. I even to this day wake up every day with a headache. This is another thing that can be very debilitating to someone that suffers from Fibro.
When your head hurts, it just makes you feel horrible all over. It is hard to concentrate; it is hard to drive, go out in public, etc. You can then pretty much live like a hermit in your home.
Painkillers are answers that some doctors give, but the side effects from those can be even worse. Our headaches can even turn into a migraine which is more painful.
I have been one of the lucky few that has had an amazing doctor who just won’t give me pain killers or all kinds of RX to help relieve my pain. He has helped me by giving me the option to take vitamins instead of an RX. This is a much healthier alternative and has been a huge blessing so that I can try and live as normal of life as possible.
