Someday, we continuously observe the power of Six Sigma and Lean  six  sigma in almost every domain, from the service sector to software development and testing; mass production with near to zero error to custom production; and multinational companies to MSME  sectors

What makes six sigma as relevant and effective as it is today and why more and more companies are implementing it to make business processes error-free?

The foundation of Six Sigma comes from the implementation of statistical techniques to production control developed after the invention of mass production at the starting of the 1900s. The official Six Sigma method for professional  use  was launched in the 1980s as a data-centric, organized methodology allowing analysis of the performance  of the process and provide an improvement  over existing  processes with a goal to reduce defects so that fewer than  3.4 defective parts per million are produced at any kind of processes

After  World War II had ended, Japanese engineers inculcated and further built upon these statistical methods to provide a solid base for lean six sigma. Lean considers not only data-driven decision-making, but also considers the management principles, focussing on the creation of value streams and creating a balanced environment where waste is almost eliminated to zero. Lean strives for continuous improvement with the accountability and responsibility of all employees to achieve perfect quality.

The secrets that Six Sigma course and Lean hold in today’s world and are beyond our reach. The impact  the performances of companies in the following three areas mentioned below, which  works as  a connecting link between customer and companies with the help of certified six sigma practitioner

Six Sigma and Lean put stress on providing value to the customer and what the consumer does value. products or services set to meet the customer expectations requires us to determine what does a customer expects. what features give you an edge over competitors, and what will provide them with delighted. If a company focuses on providing value to customer4, it will help a business to make good products and gain significant market share and will help businesses retain loyal customers. Understanding these basics gives us a ground to start to reduce waste, in other words, eliminate anything and everything that does not contribute to consumer value.

Process Mindset

the process is a series of clearly defined steps, which eats on our resources in terms of time and money and produces the desired output. Defined and well-measured process flows helps us to keep a track of the performance of processes, and, with the information available in hand, the higher management can decide how much effort to be provided in which areas to achieve their strategic goals and get to focus and track progress towards final goals. The process mindset challenges process cycle times and can be extended into the supplier base to reach up the supply chain to achieve higher performance.

One of the key components to the success of Lean six sigma is the involvement of all stakeholders including employees, the ides that the flow of the process cannot be understood from a distant view but must be understood by having some hands-on and must be examined with the involvement of those who are expert at it and perform it daily and who can give us insight on the areas of improvement. It helps employees in the organization to be on their toes and enable them to take part actively in organizational functioning and having clear cut ways to measure performance, results in motivation  across the company and also results in an increase in  productivity, whereby  all members of the team are working towards a unified goal and have an opportunity to learn, earn and develop

Effecting the change to adopt Six Sigma and Lean requires dedication and commitment from top management, expert-led training from trained Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belts, and hands-on project and execution from an experienced team of Six Sigma Black, Green, and Yellow Belts certification holders.
