Dear Our Beautiful Black Men,
I’m sorry that you are living in a world that doesn’t care about you.
I’m sorry that you’re living in a world that has an agenda set out for your destruction.
I’m sorry that as soon you step foot into the streets you’re targeted.
I’m sorry that you’re confused and don’t know where to turn.
You were taught at a young age that the police were there whenever you need them to protect you or serve and help you. Now you’re taught to go to the grocery store with fear, turn on your turn signals to avoid ending up dead and to steer clear from hoodies to be labeled as a threat and seem “suspicious”.
I’m sorry you’re afraid.
I’m sorry you’ve lost your loved ones.
I’m sorry that you’ve had nightmares about losing a loved one.
I’m sorry that you think you’re next.
Oh, beautiful black men, I want you to know that you are appreciated and valued to me. You matter STILL. You will live and you will not die for your father in heaven is watching and protecting you. Do you want to get back at Amerikkka? Educate yourself. For there is nothing more terrifying than intelligent BLACK man.
I want to leave you with these words of encouragement.
“God is fighting for us, God is on our side
He has overcome yes, he has overcome
We will not be shaken, we will not be moved
Jesus, you are here.”
[song: In Jesus’ Name by Israel Houghton]
Verse of the Day: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power love and of a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7
Peace, Positivity, and Prosperity.
