There are several interventions in this sector at every stage that starts from pre-production credit facility to farmers then crop insurance agents, post-production infrastructure such as cold storage chains, transportation providers, wholesalers, importers, retailers, seafood companies, etc. In this way, seafood passes through several phases before coming to your plate. Middlemen act as a catalyst from the starting phase till the customer.
