Hey guys, it's been a while since I wrote something, work after the trip got to me because of too much catching up. But here I am, working with my pen and journal again. So as you all know I just got back from my recent trip in Paris, Belgium and Netherlands. And as I was having my Euro Trip, I also had my soul searching moments. The trip has been my turning point of knowing who I am and what I want to do in my life. I will be turning 27 this year and yes it is the ideal age for settling down with someone. My mom even told me that I have the license to get married. But I'm not yet ready for that, I'm turning 27 and still figuring out myself. One thing I realized during my solo trip was that everyone are busy to look for that someone that will complete their lives. But are we giving enough time to look for ourselves first instead? Are we ready to meet that someone? Are we ready to give a part of ourselves? Are we ready to let that someone find us? Don't let someone find you until you learn to love yourself. Don't let someone find you until you are content with your life. Don't let someone find you until you've traveled alone. Don't let someone find you until you live independently. Don't let someone find you until you learn to love all your flaws and imperfections. Don't let someone find you until you find yourself. I'm not saying dating from time to time is not a good idea. But if you are waiting for the right one, focus on yourself first. Maybe along the way of finding yourself, you might meet him and build a strong friendship first. What I mean is use your time as a single person to know and discover yourself more. Once you are done figuring out yourself, you are ready to welcome that someone in your life for all the right reasons. Not because you need someone because you are just plain lonely but to share with that someone the love you have learned in life. So, explore things you've been wanting to do, take your time, no one is rushing you. For there is no expiration date in loving someone that is meant for you. But for now, don't let someone find you, until you find yourself.
