Follow these steps to connect

Here are the simple steps to Log in to website. Once you do this, you will be able to get Wi-Fi in all the rooms you want.

  1. First thing to do is bring your Wi-Fi extender into the same room where your router is. You can move the extender to another room after you have made the needed connection.
  2. Plug the extender into a power source and bring it close to the PC. The power LED on the wireless NETGEAR extender will light up when the power connection is secure.
  3. The wireless range extender has two LED lights, one is the PC to Extender LED and the other is the Device to Extender LED. Unplug the ethernet cable and replug them if there is no light coming from either one.
  4. Enter the web address in the web browser address bar. If there is no connection, try resetting your browser before you try again. To do this, remove the cable and clear the cache and cookies in the browser. Or, use another browser.
  5. If either the Device or the PC is out of range, you have to move them towards each other. If the PC to Extender LED is not glowing, move the extender nearer to the PC. If the other light is not burning, move nearer to the Device.
  6. Check the cable connection to the Extender from the PC. Make sure the LED lights are lit when you begin to connect to the device in another part of the house.
  7. Assign a static IP address to your computer. Wait for a moment before you make any changes to make a note of your network settings. On the Windows OS, note the current Default gateway. For Mac OS, it will be the Router address. Use as the default IP address and as the subnet mask. If you have doubts on any of the topics you can clear them all by contacting Support.
