A Morning Desert Safari Dubai is one of the most popular activities in the prosperous city. Imagine driving through the vast landscape between Dubai and the Omani border in a 4x4, participating in an exhilarating dune bashing activity, taking an enchanting camel ride. During these desert trips, join in a sandboarding session or watch a falconry demonstration before spending the evening in a magically torch-lit desert camp, indulging in the most delectable Emirati cuisine and watching some local dance or music performances. To top it off, no matter where you stay in Dubai city, pick-up and drop-off are included. In a nutshell, that's a normal Dubai desert excursion. However, there are many variants in activities and times of the day.
Regardless of the option you choose, you're in for a once-in-a-lifetime event. This is a must-do activity in Dubai that you must include in your calendar. Which deal and offer, however, is best for you? Embark on one of Dubai's top desert tours with us to know; let's get started!
Best Adventure in Dubai: Desert Safari Trips Dubai
About the tour provider
Desert Safari Trips was among the best tour operators when we looked over several safari companies; they also offer a deal for dinner cruise Marina, Dhow dinner cruise marina. The organization provides some of Dubai's most remarkable safaris. We ended up spending a lot more money on things like the Burj Al Arab, the Ain Dubai Ferris wheel, the Aquaventure waterpark, the Burj Khalifa, and an Abu Dhabi city tour, but we have no regrets because we had a blast.
Their most popular offers comprise an adventure pack that includes a falconry display, a 4-course buffet meal, cultural entertainment, and an hour-long nature safari by Vintage Land Rover or a camel caravan. You can upgrade to an overnight stay with breakfast and a dawn balloon ride in the morning.
Our experience
Our adventure began with a prompt pick-up from our Jumeirah hotel at 2.30 p.m. by our knowledgeable guide for the day. For the Toyota Land Cruiser ride, we were joined by another couple who had also stayed at our hotel. We arrived at the meeting spot in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve after approximately an hour and a quick halt at the Camel Race Track.
A small group of about a dozen people was led to their preferred tour: the Land Rover trip or the camel riding tour. We had chosen the last option, and the camels, grouped in groups of three, were excitedly anticipating our arrival. Then it was out into the Arabian desert, just as the sun began to set. It had been such a relaxing experience. No sunset is as spectacular as one in the desert, so it's picture-perfect.
Our tour guide then took us to our final destination: the Bedouin camp. The torch-lit setting seemed to come straight out of a storybook at twilight. We saw the bread-making and Arabic coffee roasting demos while the girls had their Henna tattoos. Our dishes arrived a little later: Jarjeer and fatoush salads, lamb kibbeh, hummus. A nice lentil soup was also served to us.
Two yola dancers took the stage as Arabic music permeated the room. After a hunting journey, Bedouins used to conduct a traditional weapon dance. Following that, the audience was encouraged to engage in a drumming demonstration.
It was time for the main dish after stirring up an appetite. A feast of grilled vegetables, rice, chicken tajine, harees, and camel meat cooked in an underground pit. The food was delicious. The girls snuck out to the camels and got a final ride while we polished our plates to the last crumb. They arrived just in time for dessert, which consisted of luqaimat and a variety of fresh fruit, while my husband smoked shisha.
We didn't want this magical evening to come to an end. It doesn't have to, either, because you can spend the night in one of the stone dwelling rooms at this charming camp.
Reasons we believe this to be the best Dubai adventure
It's a relaxed atmosphere with a touch of luxury, just the way we like it. While Dubai safaris have a reputation for being overly touristy, These Trips unique setting and outstanding service make it feel more like a genuine and intimate experience than a tourist trap. The personnel is highly attentive, and every last detail is considered. It's made even more photogenic by the colorful collection of vintage Series I and II Land Rovers.
At the end of the tour, you have the option of purchasing a movie and professional images of your experience. The video comprises personal photos from the nature safari, drone footage, and observations from the Bedouin tent. It perfectly catches the atmosphere.
This is a premium desert safari, and you pay for that, but it was so worth it, in our opinion. The experience was truly phenomenal. If you're looking for a unique, luxurious, and memorable experience in Dubai, we warmly recommend Desert Safari Trips.
