My review:

I just want to start this review by saying that this was really quick and easy to read, so if you don't have a lot of time to read then I would suggest reading this because you can easily read it in one sitting. 

I really enjoyed the plot I thought it was interesting and at times, entertaining. The one issue that I had was that I found it quite predictable at times, I guessed what was going to happen before it happened which I was disappointed by because the plots for the novels have been superb. I thought it was a really awesome idea for a plot though and I found it really enjoyable, it kept me interested and wanting to read more. 

It is really fast paced which is to be expected but when I first started it, it jolted me with how fast the play progressed. I think it was a bit of a shock from the Harry Potter novels which are quite thick so they take their time with the story. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed the pace because a lot of the time you were on the edge of your seat, it was quite gripping and despite being a bit predictable at times, there were quite a few twists which I didn't expect. 

Sadly I didn't really like Albus Potter, I thought he was really annoying because of how much he complained about his life. It's understandable that being Harry Potter's son, he has a lot to live up to, but all he talks about are his own problems and how hard his life is. It annoyed me because he has a really loving family and they fought so hard to be where they are today and he isn't making it any easier for them. I much preferred Scorpius Malfoy he was a really funny and entertaining character. It surprised me how different he is to Draco and I loved that he was friends with Albus despite the problems Harry and Draco had when they were at Hogwarts. They don't let their family name stop them from being friends and I really liked that. Towards the end, I think Albus realises that other people have problems too and despite what problems he has, others are going through the same or tougher situations. I liked how they included that because it gave Albus some character development. I really enjoyed the ending because it focused on Albus and Harry's relationship and what happens next between them. 

I liked seeing Harry, Ron and Hermione come together again and it was really interesting seeing what jobs they are all in now and how they are coping as parents. Without giving away spoilers, there are some other characters who make an appearance which I was really surprised about! It was nice seeing them again and I'm sure a lot of people really appreciated that.

When this play first came out, I was hesitant to buy it but my friend read it and she loved it which persuaded me to buy it. I'm glad I did because it was an enjoyable read but I don't think I loved it as much as everyone else did. I would recommend it to others though because it's nice re-visiting old characters again and it was quite good as a play.
