- Santa Kisses for Sale by Kelly Moore
They say Christmas is a time for miracles...
Not when you have Scrooge living next door.My sexy new neighbor is a pain in the ass…at least going off my first impression of him.
When you dig deeper…that’s when you find the miracle of Christmas…or my neighbor dressed in Santa trousers and suspenders, hanging my outside lights.
Payback is a bitch…with me drooling over his hot body.
Underneath all that snarky behavior…and his beard, there is a good man inside. That is, once you’ve peeled back the wrapping paper…and he’s let down his long hair. Then it’s Merry Christmas to me!
I see mistletoe in my future and stealing all of his kisses.
Santa Kisses for Sale is the perfect Christmas rom-com with the right amount of steam mixed in. Ryan and his big heart made me swoon while Pacey's sassy independence made me laugh. I would actually love to see more about these characters and what is next for them. You should put this romantic comedy at the top of your Christmas reading list!
2. Kisses for Christmas by Skye Warren
THREE STEAMY HOLIDAY novellas
Fall in love with an uncertain secretary and her new mysterious boss, a single mother on the run and the small-town sheriff who protects her, and the military hero who catches a beautiful thief!
HIS FOR CHRISTMAS
CAUGHT FOR CHRISTMAS
I downloaded this box set because: 1. It's a Skye Warren box set (whoop whoop) 2. I'm a sucker for any Christmas story (or movie) and 3. It's currently FREE.
I enjoyed reading each of these novellas. I actually flew through them! Bedtime stories was definitely my favorite. What can I say? I'm a sucker for a man in uniform, especially when he is as sweet as Finn.
3. Christmas Light by Jolyse Barnett
Adirondack girl-in-transition Jade Engel comes home to recharge after ending a career she never truly wanted, but soon realizes she’s in danger of also being swept off her feet by the boy-next-door, her former best friend, Ben Stephens. If only he’d stop kissing her every time she falls into his arms.
Everything local celebrity Ben Stephens ever wanted is in Starling. Then Jade comes home after an eternity away and sends his simple world into a tailspin. He’s determined to pursue her—the one girl who got away. But when their friends-with-benefits arrangement blows up in their faces, will they have the courage to put their pasts to rest in order to forge a future together?
Christmas Light was one of my favorite Christmas reads this year. Jolyse Barnett created a Hallmark worthy second-chance romance. Ben and Jade have an undeniable amount of chemistry between them, even though Jade does try to resist Ben's sexy deliciousness.
4. Once Upon An Heirloom by Kait Nolan
Sylvie goes to the jewelry store with a sad story, a looming debt, and a beloved heirloom.
Everett is a hard-core do-gooder with a bank account to back him up.
When he impulsively buys Sylvie’s hocked ring, he intends to return it to her. But Sylvie disappears. How will he find her again? And if his friends find his grand gestures…eccentric, how will a complete stranger react?
Everett and Sylvie are so dang cute, especially Everett and his reindeer sweater. I don't think I've ever met a book boyfriend with a heart as big as Everett's. He will literally give someone the clothes off his back. I will be adding these characters to my "Characters I Would Like to See Again" list. Once Upon An Heirloom is a short story of about 40 pages and the perfect story to read while the kids are down for a quick nap or you're waiting in line to pick them up from school.
5. Christmas Wish by Melanie Shawn
Kyle Austen Reed had it all, and his devilishly handsome good looks were known to steal hearts on and off the screen…
Fired…Evicted…Caring for a special needs child…
Aurora Rose’s life wasn’t a Lifetime movie. For the courageous and beautiful single mother, this was her reality…
When a meet and greet with an adoring young fan changes both of their worlds, Kyle will have to prove that there’s more to him than meets the eye, and Aurora will need to have faith that, after years of just scraping by, she is deserving of more than just a temporary reprieve from her daily struggle…
For the movie star and the single mom, will a Christmas Wish become their new reality?
A Christmas Wish is a cute single mom romance with one of the cutest tween girls ever. I love Aurora's strength and desire to protect her daughter from the harshness of the world made me so happy to see her finally get a chance at happiness. And Kyle. Oh Kyle. If you regularly follow my blog, I'm sure your aware by now of how big of a sucker I am for a sweet big-hearted hero who has a take charge sexy side. And Kyle is that hero. Not to mention the love at first sight scene. It is one of the best I've ever read. This book gave me all the feels!
6. This Christmas by Jeannie Moon
Single mother Sabrina Gervais has built a happy life with her daughter Charlotte in their eastern Long Island hometown of Holly Point. Having Charlie meant putting some of her own dreams on hold, but Sabrina is content to surround herself with family and friends, safe from the realities of the outside world. She had enough of that when the man she loved broke her heart.
Jake Killen’s career in professional hockey has brought him many rewards on and off the ice, but returning to New York brings back a flood of memories. When he sees Sabrina again, he discovers that he didn’t just run away from her ten years ago, but also from their unborn child. Struggling with anger, guilt, and chemistry that’s off the chart, Sabrina and Jake wonder if they can find love again and, this Christmas, make all their wishes come true.
Jeannie Moon's writing tells a beautiful story and makes hours pass in what seems like 15 minutes of reading. I knew starting the book that it was short, but that didn't stop me from wanting more of Jake and Bree's story. I especially wanted to see Amanda and Marissa get what was coming to them. I can't believe a grown woman would make a 9 year old little girl cry.
Second chance romance. Christmas. A sexy hockey player who is a great dad. An adorable 9 year old tom-boy. What is not to love about Jeannie Moon's This Christmas? Nothing that's what.
