Once again I fell in love with Istanbul, it may be my favourite city in the world. This is a huge statement to make for someone who hasn't seen the world yet. Istanbul has so much to offer in terms of history but also food and fashion.
Waking up and seeing the sun rise over the most beautiful skyline. Wherever you look there's always something that's taking your breath away. Hearing the müezzins 'sing' from their minarets of the mosques is an unexplainable feeling. Walking down the old streets in which an entire history book unfolds in front of you, must be the reason why I love Istanbul so much. In every corner there is something to discover and also behind every corner there's a cultural experience.
There's no doubt that the locals will look at you with a huge smile on their face and a big heart for hospitality. Let's not forget about the kebabs. The Turkish kitchen offers an enormous variety of gastronomic deliciousness in your mouth. From the most salty food to the most sugary, it has it all. This city gives you the energy to get out of bed, it gives you the energy to get the best out Istanbul.
