Hot in the Saddle by Randi Alexander is book number one in the Heroes in the Saddle series. This is Treven Arnett and racecar driver Delta Pennington's story.
Treven is a rancher and a volunteer firefighter who saved Delta when her racecar caught on fire. Delta ends up staying with Treven to help him since his hands were injured when saving her.
As they spend time together things begin to heat up and not just between the two of them. Delta's racecar may have been tampered with. Plus, Delta hasn't told Treven everything. Will all of these obstacles keep them from finding true love? Is someone out to hurt Delta?
I really enjoyed Treven and Delta's characters. This was a fun and steamy romance with a little mystery and suspense thrown in.
