I am Catherine, also known as the bayou gypsy, born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My gypsy spirit planted roots in the great cities of Austin, Seattle and Boca Raton, but the bayou state kept calling my name. Thank goodness for the pull back home because that is where I met and married my cowboy husband, Andrew. We recently relocated to 7 acres in Zachary, LA and have started life on a hobby farm. It’s the land of bayous, fishing, hunting, four wheelers, trucks, nutria, deer, cows, three rescue pups, two wild pigs named Nibbles & Nacho, a horse named Sparkle and everything else southern. I started a personal blog, the bayou gypsy, to chronicle our new found farm life and the exciting adventures this bayou gypsy and her cowboy get into on the regular. I dabble in a little bit of everything and will share it all with you one wild ride at a time.
