My Review:
I had trouble with the first book (Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children) I couldn’t get in to the fantasy of the book. I liked it. But for some reason I just couldn’t. That’s why it took me a little while to get to Hollow City. And OMG this book was freaking awesome. I couldn’t put it down.
The writing, the character development and the world building were just amazing. In this one you get to know more and more about each character and I think that’s why it felt so easy to dive in to the fantasy of it. I love how the relationship between the Jacob and Emma develops and how they talk about the obvious issues (age difference).
I’m not a fan of the whole travel in time thing, but in this book I loved it. We also get to see more loops and how the peculiars live or survive. And Enoch is freaking funny.
I’m kind of hopping that in the third book we’ll get to know more about how the loops work, cause that was kind of confusing. There are some things that don’t make since in this book like Jacobs phone. I need Jacob’s phone (read the book to know) lol. And a lot of other things that I cant talk about for spoiler reasons.
By the way, that ending!!! WOW!! I have to read Library of Souls like now!! lol
This book is really great, go check it out. You have to read it. The ending will blow your mind.
