The Face Behind the Words Who I am? This has been a question I've struggled to answer for years.Yes, I knew my name, my parents, my date of birth, I knew my self, yet I still had no idea who I was.If you asked me who I was, I would not know what to say.I had no concrete thought and assurance of who I was. I suffered from low self-esteem,depression and at times contemplated and attempted suicide, because I had no idea who I was. On July 11,2014 my identity was revealed to me.After accepting Christ, becoming a Christian and being baptized, I understood who I was and accepted my Identity in Chrsit.I know now that I am new creation (2 Cor 5:17), partaker of Divine nature (2 Peter 1:4), conformed to His image (Romans 8:29) and the list could go on. I admit, sometimes I have to constanly remind my self this when the enemy says otherwise. Not only do I remind my self of my identity in Christ, but I walk in the identity He has given to me. Born and raised in small yet proficient Jamaica, I strive towards excellence at all times. If I could use one word to describe me,it would be passionate. I exercise great passion and enthusiasm in all things, as it is a driving force in achieving all things through Christ who stregthens me. Im currently a student at the Pretigious Glenmuir High School, located in Clarendon Jamaica. My ambitions are to become a Minister of the Gospel, a Motivational Speaker, a Paediatrician or a Child Psychologist. They're also many other skills, I'd love to achieve, such as Hair Styling and Makeup Artistry. As I grow in God's Grace, each day, I am blossoming into the woman of God, Iam called to be. I live by my own quote, " Define Beauty, dont let beauty define you." I do so because, not accepting my self and believing I wasnt beautiful enough contributed to me not knowing who I was. But by the Grace of God, I've to define Beauty, to be my own beautiful, with or without makep, around strangers or friends, I've learned to define beauty and not allow society's definition of beauty to define who I am. I am Chantai Robinson and this is who I am. I know who I am.
