How are you guys? Recently, I came across an incident when I encountered a little corruption in a bus. As youngsters, we all speak about how corruption should not even exist and it is a common topic of discussion. I have heard a lot of people saying that what they did would not matter to the system. After all, they are only one among billions of people in the world. This really hit me, I could say. Is it true? Does 'my bit' really matter?
Everything we come across has these two point of views. Everything or nothing. Everything is when you strongly believe that you can bring the change by being the change. Nothing is when you have conditioned yourself to believe that you are a non entity. You don't matter. Two hands of the same body, right? If you're a person who has the everything type of view, are you doing your bit?
Here's is what I think. I believe that everything I do matters. If I don't do it, who will? If you always want someone else to initiate the change, you will remain as a nobody. It is not just about corruption, friends. It could be anything. For example, when people strongly believed humans could never fly, what did the Wright brothers do? What they did has been reaching us in a better form. Do you ever think what if they thought they couldn't do it?
Everything you do matters, friends. You matter and don't let anybody tell you otherwise. But what you do matters only if it comes from a place of happiness, joy or the need you feel to help and support others. If it really comes from a place of joy, it will spread. Everyone around has to change and everyone will feel the need to experience the joy. Happiness is infectious. It spreads. It spreads like a ripple. And you're the center of that ripple.

The best part, here, is that every person who is affected by your ripple becomes the center of their own ripple. They start spreading the happiness, the joy and the knowledge. To put it in simple words, you have become an inspiration to them. The things you gave to them will reach a lot more people than you could reach by being alone, doing nothing. It may even reach in better form. That will be the 'feel good' part.
It is true that a lot of things can't be changed drastically this way. But if you don't start, you will only be a part of the society that you always blame. Stand out from the crowd, be the change.
So, never believe that you're a nobody. You can change everybody if you initiate the right things with joy, happiness and thoughts for the betterment of the society.
Thanks for visiting!
