I am an Anglican theologian, living in Iasi, Romania.

Until February 2016, I worked for about 20 years as Director for Faith & Development, for World Vision International, in the Middle East & Eastern Europe.

I started my professional career as an economist, in communist Romania. Then, after 1989, I worked as an editor, and after that, for five years, I taught theology at graduate level.

I have a BA degree in Economics, from the University in Iasi, Romania, an MA in Hermeneutics, and a PhD in Theology from Brunel University, London, UK.

I was born in 1954, and I am married, with two children and five grand children, all living now in the UK.

My areas of expertise are: hermeneutics, dogmatic theology, Eastern Orthodox theology, ecumenism, development, postcommunism, spirituality.

I have a large spectrum of interests: travel (I have visited about 70 countries), inter-cultural interaction, inter-faith, music, fine arts, politics, and many more.

I have started blogging in November 2007, at Persona - https://danutm.wordpress, on the Wordpress platform, and I havee published, until now, almost 8,000 posts .
