The Champions, Wimbledon

The Champions, Wimbledon

Hi everyone!

I want to share with you my experience during Wimbledon 2015 & 2016.

Must bring:

  • Blanket to sit on during the queue
  • Sunglasses
  • Light jacket/jumper
  • Sunscreen
  • Bagpack or cooler
  • Snacks
  • Booze (up to 2 bottles per person)

The Queue:

There is a limited number of all day pass sell per day for a reasonable price ( 20 ground courts and 120 for courts 1, 2 & centre). If you want to get one of this tickets you must (I recommend) to arrive at 7 AM at least, some people take it to another level and camp the day before! Worry about getting too early? Don´t be there are coffee and food vendors & super fun stuff to do, watch my vine moment here  and here   (LOL).

Inside Site:

If you want the complete british experience prepare yourself to pay overly price strawberries, souvenirs and pimm´s (but I must say it is worth it).

If you get ground courts, like me, you still get to watch very decent matches. I watched Martina Navratilova, Tomas Berdych, Gael Monfis and more.

During lunch go and sit on the hill to watch the big screen.

Leaving Early?:

If you leave early don´t forget to dispose your ticket on a green mail box, these will be sell to people that arrive later on the evening. (Kind of recycling your ticket).

The atmosphere is amazing, it has been definitely one of the best experiences of my life and so blessed to lived it twice (two years in a row). Checked from my bucket list.

Special thanks to Sam Margetts and don´t forget to check out the rest of my pictures here
