Logos, when properly crafted, will draw interest and generate an iconic, top-of-the-mind brand logo. If done unprofessionally, they might still scare consumers away.

We live in a society where logos and brands are just everywhere. Even toddlers who can't yet walk or talk properly know a lot of brands, or can deduce what a business does only by peeking at its brand name.

  18. Simple logos are always easier when you make them. Consider looking at the Unlock logo, which is the name of the company, with a tiny lock underneath the "n" to signify anything unlocking. While very simplistic, it is extremely successful, mostly because of its simple nature.

  22. Humor is an effective tool to make the job more unforgettable, and using a visual joke is a perfect way to bring that into effect. Pause is a terrific example that uses the real paw to reflect their name and produce something refreshing and surprising.

  24. The way you type a word will also have an impact on how it is perceived, something that is extremely powerful for logos. Edge Connect, which includes a stylized font, is a strong logo comparison. Using special types and fonts to help highlight who you are and what your label represents.
