What God has done and is doing for many, many women has been….glorious. God is setting His daughters free to be the women they are created to be. He is transforming hearts and minds and lives, and families and communities and nations. But God’s not through yet. There is more to be done.
People today are desperate for meaning. They desire to know that is possible to live a life that matters. They are hungry for truth and dying of thirst for the Living Waters.
Jesus said on the last and greatest day of the feast “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water.”
We know he is not talking about physical thirst. That’s clear. But what he is saying is that our souls get thirsty. When you go without water your body gets thirsty. And the soul, when it goes without God, gets thirsty.
In Psalm 63:1 David said, “O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You, my flesh faints for You, in a dry and thirsty land with no water.
