God has given us everything pertaining to life and godliness and every spiritual blessing in heavenly places belongs to us (2 Peter 1:3; Ephesians 1:3). It is His desire that we enjoy the full, abundant life that He promised everyone who comes to Him (John 10:10).
Faith is is the substance that connects us to these blessings. We need revelation from God to encourage us in our faith to believe and receive every blessing that has been promised to those who love Him.
As I venture out in faith, I am reminded of Genesis 13:14-15. The Lord told Abraham, “Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.”
What is the Lord showing you? The Lord revealed to Abraham his potential blessing in the above Scripture. This revelation produced faith in Abraham’s heart to step out and act on what the Lord showed Him.
There are many great examples in the Bible of men and women who stepped out in faith and obedience to fulfill their destiny. Men and women like Abraham, Gideon, Joshua and Caleb, Deborah, Esther, Peter and Paul. You too have all kinds of potential that has yet to be unlocked. Jesus wants to give you eyes to see this glorious potential that is within you!
Spend time with others who bring out the best in you and encourage you to pursue God’s best for your life. Look for opportunity in every situation. Ask God daily to open your eyes to see all of the goodness around you and the potential He has placed within you. Let go of old mindsets that stop you from believing and receiving God’s best.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1).
