One thing that seems to be a recurring theme in my overactive imagination and incredibly odd mind is the idea that the world is heading towards imminent destruction. This mostly takes the form of either a nuclear fight, a stray meteorite crashing and hitting the earth at a stupidly fast speed, or the zombie apocalypse.
Ever since I saw Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, the first and last zombie movie that I will ever see, I've quite liked the idea of stabbing knives into corpses and hacking heads off. That might just be my overactive imagination again though. I probably wouldn't be much cop, when it comes down to it.
But this is my playlist, compiled with a future apocalypse - preferably a zombie one - in mind. It's the same one that I use for when I'm writing epic battle/angst scenes in my stories, so if a few songs seem a bit out of place, that's why.
