I was doing my housework the other day, and had put my Spotify songs on shuffle and some really good upbeat songs came on and I found I got on with it so much better when they were playing than when slower or sadder songs came on. I decided to compile a playlist that would help motivate me to get things done.

I have put 10 of my favourite from that playlist into this post so that you can start your own playlist. Honestly it helps so much, not even just to get stuff done, but I've found when I'm in a bad mood they help too!

1. Sexy Lady by Jessie J
This was the first song I listened to on this day, and I couldn't stop moving to it. Good self esteem boost as well!

2. Oh My Love by The Score
Also known as the Asda song if you live in the UK. It played host to the Asda adverts for a while, and I'm sure every customer and employee got sick of it as it played throughout the stores repeatedly. Now that it's not used for Asda, I find it's a brilliant pick me up song!

3. Hey Everybody by 5 Seconds Of Summer
A very upbeat song, about everything being bad, but eventually it will all work out! (Kind of bias because 5 Seconds of Summer are one of my favourite bands, but still) Its great if you've had a bad day at work, or are done with everything going wrong.

4. Shake It by Metro Station
Simply a song you can move to, I find it works best when doing repetitive things like washing up, hoovering, polishing...

5. Dear Future Husband by Meghan Trainor
I never used to be a big fan of her music, but I must admit this one is catchy is great to move to. Also a great song for girl power and girls doing it for themselves (despite the misleading title).

6. I Know What You Did Last Summer by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello
Not great to listen to if you've just been cheated on, but catchy anyway. For a song about a couple where the girl is cheating and the guy knows about it its extremely upbeat and one of my favourite songs at the minute.

7. Shut Up and Dance by Walk The Moon
The title of the song says it all really. This song has a semi-retro beat to it, so is great to do housework to, as well as belting out the lyrics as you go. Never fails to make me feel good.

8. Fight Song by Rachel Platten
When Rachel wrote this she was going through a hard time, and it was meant as a reminder to herself to not give up and always believe in herself. This comes through in the lyrics and is why it made it into my playlist. As a reminder to myself to do the same.

9. Don't Stop Believing by Journey
An oldie, but a classic. You can't not sing along and feel good when you hear Don't Stop Believing. No other explanation needed.

10. Pocketful of Sunshine by Natasha Bedingfield
Whenever I think of this song, I think of the film Easy A with Emma Stone as the main character. She receives a card with the song inside of it. The first time I heard that song was watching this film, and its definitely a feel good song. A very very cheesy song, but brilliant all the same.

So there you have it, 10 songs from my Feel Good playlist! I hope it inspires you to do the same, because it honestly does help in my opinion. It's strange how much music can have an influence. If you have anymore that you think I and others would enjoy please feel free to leave them below in the comments!
