I found this recipe on pinterest and it sounded interesting. So I saved it for a day when I felt like baking. Well, today was the day. It called for 2 bananas, 1 cup of quick oats, and whatever else you felt like adding, such as chocolate chips or walnuts. So I mixed up the bananas and quick oats and initially I didn't think it was going to work. The two ingredients weren't mixing well. After a few minutes they finally did and I felt better about this. Once they were mixed I added a handful of chocolate chips and then I put them on the pan. I baked them for 15 minutes and then I let them cool. Now let me pause and I that I usually have really good luck when it comes to recipes that I find on Pinterest. The arts and crafts not so much, but that's more my fault than Pinterest's. So I put three cookies on a plate and made that my breakfast. Relax, it's only bananas and oats. I have to say. I took the first bite and I didn't really like them. I mean they're not bad enough to not eat, but I probably won't make them again. I'm kind of disappointed by it as I was looking forward to having something quick to eat for breakfast, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Back to the drawing board aka Pinterest. Here's a link to the recipe so you can try it for yourself. http://www.theburlapbag.com/2012/07/2-ingredient-cookies-plus-the-mix-ins-of-your-choice/
