When I visited my WhatsApp profile today, I saw a friend of mine profile picture showing him walking in the field facing on the back wearing a T-shirt that says “Winners never quit.” How motivating, right?

I don’t remember where I read this “The minute you think of giving up, think of the reason why you held on so long.” That’s all you need to know when you feel like giving up. Think of why you are deciding to quit now. Why did you fight all this time, and decide to quit now? What about all the investment you have put in, maybe in your business, your relationships, your life, and so on?

For all of us who need the motivation to keep going, I have come up with five steps to attract your ideal things and manifest the things you want and need. These steps maybe also what we need to get that enthusiasm back to keep progressing, to keep the momentum, and finish what we have already started. But even so, to help us achieve our end goals without wishing to never stop or quit so that we can also become winners.

  • Think of Rewards

There is this phrase by Tony Dorsett that says, “To succeed, you need to find something to hold on to, something to inspire you, something to motivate you.” If you’re Christian for instance, that will be the scriptures with the promises of God; the Word of God. This could be also the rewards that you are going to get if you continue until the finish line; whatever it is the finish line looks like to you. Whatever are your end goals that you want to accomplish or desire to accomplish. For instance, myself one of my present dreams is to have more than book with my name on it on few of major bookstores selling worldwide someday soon. I mean, I think this is a dream for every writer and author. But for someone else it could be getting their ideal job and doing what you really love and getting well paid for the job. Jack Canfield said, “If you love your work, if you enjoy it, you’re already a success.” So imagine you get highly paid doing your dream job, and how it can transform your life. Not all of us own homes. So, if it’s your goal to becoming a home owner soon in your life, so think of the rewards of having your own house and a place to call home.

  • Imagine if you already have it

In the book of Mark chapter 11 verse 24, it says, “Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” You can also say, ‘act as if it has already happened.’ For example; you believe God for your dream job, so the best way to imagine it is for you to picture yourself doing the job. I mean, that is what I am doing right now. I haven’t published any selling book yet in print or in digital, but if I go somewhere and they say ‘all authors and writers stand up,’ “I will stand up, because I am.” So visualize yourself doing the job of your choice, something that you love and enjoy doing, something that you feel this is you. Practice every day even for few minutes so that you can get the clear picture of what you want. Visualize as clear as you can and realistic as possible maybe that you are also getting well paid for the job you are doing and you are working in harmony with other people, or your ideal customers. This will help you whenever you feel frustrated as if it’s a waste of your time, or it’s taking too long to get there.

  • Take small steps

There is a time to dream and a time to take action. It will come time you need to become real yourself just as real your dream and goal can feel. Start by making plans and taking small steps actions toward your goals and dreams. Find the requirements and what you need to do to achieve your goals, then start implementing some of the things you need to act toward your goals and dreams so that you can achieve them. So you were frustrated last time, but after you thought of the rewards, you said, ‘man.., I need to get back in the game.’ And then you decide to visualize and imagine the rewards; how much you want it so bad, and visualize how clear it feels to you, so all you need is to hold on a little longer, learn about it more. After that, you need to go back into making small steps again and continue where you left off since the last time you acted on your dreams and goals.

  • Express gratitude

There is this story in the Bible from the book of Luke chapter 17, reading from King James Version, from verses 11 to 19, and it says: “And it came to pass, as He went to Jerusalem, that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. And as He entered into a certain village, there met Him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when He saw them, He said unto them, go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on His face at His feet, giving Him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And He said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.”

Now according to what I have learned and also listened to some Pastors’ insight on this passage, there is a difference between being cleansed and being made whole. When Jesus told him his faith has made him whole, it meant he was not just been healed, but completely healed and whole as if nothing happened before, and there is no trace of any disease, or scars on him. And all it took him was for him to go back and give thanks to what the Lord has done for him. The act of him being grateful changed everything for him; from being cleansed and healed to being made whole.

Gratitude favors us in the sight of God, but even people. When you give thanks and become thankful, doors will be opened for you. Favor will overtake you. You can be thankful for what you have so far, but then you can be thankful for things that are yet to come, you don’t have so far that you are expecting for God to help you achieve and manifesting in your life. You can express gratitude for anything as if it’s already yours before it even happens. There is power in thanksgiving and being grateful. Gratitude can shift your mindset and transform your attitude.

  • Keep it in mind constantly

We attract what we think about most of the time. Our thoughts are magnets and when they become the dominant thoughts in our minds, they can attract and bring into reality what we focus on constantly in a thorough manner. Your attitude is crucial to your success. You need to tune your mind into thinking those things you want to manifest in your life, the things you want to attract more of. Whether your ideal goal is to getting well or losing weight, competing at peak levels, getting married, and so many other things. Our frustrations sometimes can become very destructive especially if they keep happening over and over again for a long period of time. So when we feel most frustrated with everything that is when we need to hang on to the promise the most and shift our minds to get focused to the rewards and our end goal results to prevent us to do something that we may regret later.

This is life; sometimes we lose motivation and that passion and enthusiasm even for the things that we love dearly. We need to do something to reignite that fire back again. And this is where these five steps come in handy. They can help us overcome, but also to get back up and continue with where we left off.
