It's that time of the year again! Monsoon is back and all I wanna do is cuddle up in my cozy blanket and watch movies all day long. I mean who doesn't want that? Everything around becomes green again. Nature rejuvenates. Freshness blossoms. It's the best time of the year!

Well here are 5 things everyone should do when they are home enjoying the rain outside:-

  • Drink Tea- When it's slightly cold outside & you are sitting by your window enjoying the nature at its best, a warm hot cup of tea is cherry on top. Lemon, black, green any type anywhere, tea is the best beverage there is!

  • Get to the unfinished book: When it's raining & you are stuck at home, not working, pick up the books you left unfinished. Get a backrest, into your couch and let the reading marathon begins. Rainy season is the best time to read. Somehow I am in my best mood this time of the year!

  • Pamper yourself: Yes, Rainy season is the best time to pamper ourselves. Soak yourself in a hot tub or get to the massage. You deserve every bit of it. We do not realize but monsoon actually requires tons of skin & hair care. Do not leave the house without sun screen because UV rays can still pass through those clouds.

  • Dance in the rain: No kidding! Bring back the little joys of life. Nothing wrong in getting drenched a little. Reconnect with yourself. Reconnect to your soul. Go to the balcony & feel the rain, enjoy the breeze, listen to favorite song & dance!

  • Movie night: Because what's the better time to watch rom-coms? Download monsoon movie list & ready the popcorn. It is the best gift you can give to yourself. Enjoy some classics & have a peaceful beauty sleep afterwards. I bet this will freshen you up to get started for the next week with new energy.

Those were some of things for you to do on a 'rainy weekend'! Give yourself a break & have some 'me' time already!

Some people feel the rain, others just get wet!
