She looks up and curses the sky
trying not to get fire in her eye.
The burning sensation in her head
makes her fall into a grassy bed.

The creatures small, crawl on her skin,
until she sits up, misremembering
where she’s from and who she is.

For a split second, she is someone else
and nobody at the same time.

Until she remembers,
and sighs.
