The scope of the search demonstrates the evolution of modern kitchen in the historical process to modernism, while it points out the concept and the role of domestic and public service areas have in Albania before and after 90s. In the context of standardization and mobility, this study focuses on the birth of modern kitchen and modern life, leading to bars and restaurants that characterize modern life and modern city.

This study is developed from the movement of modernism, and it analyzes the report of Albanian citizens have with kitchen and public service areas.

Modern life has great impact on objects and subjects. This paradox has been dominated from the industrial capitalism and WWII. Production and working, the dynamics of modern life, affected Architecture and architects.

The companionship of architect with manual always has had boundaries, which Architecture couldn’t control them over the years. These boundaries as political, economical, social and technological developments forced architecture to behave as an observer, as a tool that interprets important factors. Because of this it has been mandatory for it to negotiate with these boundaries.

This study shows clearly the influence of service areas in this observation.
