Are you hungry or thirsty? Jesus has a lot to say to us about satisfying those who hunger and thirst for righteousness. Matthew 5:6 says if we hunger and thirst for righteousness He will satisfy.

In a time where there seems to be so much uncertainty, one thing is for sure, Father God is faithful to keep His Word. “We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.” 2 Peter 1:19

“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare.” Isaiah 55:1-2

“who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” He satisfies our weary soul. Psalm 103:5

“For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.” Psalm 107:9

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:33-34

“Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.” John 7:37

“The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.” Revelation 22:17

There is nothing like being in the presence  of our Heavenly Father. During an encounter with the King of Glory, I found myself filled to overflow with His amazing love.  I saw a little girl running through a field of flowers and the Father said, “become like a child”, then He reached out to me and held me close. it was so beautiful and peaceful. At times we may overlook that in Christ we are the children of God no matter how old we may be.  “And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3

During a second encounter I saw flashes of light and He simply said to me, “Be still and know that I am God.”  He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10

Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?  Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob. Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.” Psalm 24:3-8
