That day that children love so much will soon be over.  There were probably practical jokes galore today.  Hopefully, most of them made us smile.  When we think of a fool however, we generally envision someone who does things that make us laugh, but not always realizing that he has done so.  But not all fools are intent on laughter.

One definition of fool is a person with a talent or enthusiasm for a certain activity.  By that definition I want to be known as a fool for God.  I want to have a talent and enthusiasm for praising Him.  I feel that God wishes each one of us to be a fool for Him.

In 2 Samuel 6:14, as David is bringing the ark back to the City of David it says he, “danced with great abandon before GOD”. (The Message)  He didn't just dance quietly, he put all his joy and effort into that dance.  We may not be able to do that physically all the time, but surely we can put all our joy and effort into constantly praising Him.
