A humorous and heartbreaking second-chance stand-alone romance from the New York Times bestselling author of the Shattered Hearts Series.

For six years, she was the only one. My best friend. My kitten. My world. Then, I broke us by getting caught in a web of lies.

Hard to believe, after everything we’d been through, I could do what I did to her… in front of 600,000 people. I doubt she’ll ever believe I did it because I love her.

Three years later, my music career is booming. I have a movie deal in the next comic book reboot. And now the only parent I have left has been given a death sentence. I have to go home, but going home means facing what I did to her.

Angsty. Heartwrenching. Perfect

How far are you willing to go and what would you do to be again with the one you always loved ?

I loved everything about this book ! Cassia never misses a chance to show us, through her love stories, true life problems and situations, what are the real things in life that really matter. This book is no exception.

Even though at the beginning I hated Ben with all my heart, after the true reason for his break up with his one true love, Charlie, has been revealed, I hoped like crazy they’ll get back together.

But, if we’re to talk it true, I’d never ever forgive someone who’d drag me through mud in public, not to mention give them a second chance. People are not made to be dragged through something like that, no matter what.

I loved how Charlie had the power to keep away from him, after he’d come back in town to take care of his father. Her fiery anger spoke volumes about how hurt she still was even after all those years.

Life had other plans for her, though, and it soon would take a 180° turn. Especially after she learns the heartbreaking reason for Ben’s comeback.

Ben on the other hand, promised himself to make everything he can to win Charlie back, but with careful and calculated steps. Too bad, the plan doesn’t go exactly as easy as he’d thought it would. A lot of obstacles show up on the way, and put her faith in Ben at trial.
