Four years ago was my first time dancing at a college football game. Every football game has been a dream come true, and I can't believe this is my last season. Football season is my absolute favorite time of year because I mean, who doesn't love watching football? And, who doesn't love fall weather? Not too hot, not too cold, just perfect. And of course, who wouldn't love wearing cute skirts and shaking their pom poms in front of a big crowd? I know I sure do!

Trust me y'all, game day is looong whether you're just cheering/dancing or if you've been tailgating since 8AM. Having to meet 3 hours before a game, in your uniform, hair curled & teased, 100 layers of makeup caked on, and red lipstick.. well this should be fun. Don't get me wrong, it's one of the best opportunities of a lifetime, but let me just give you a run down of what our football game day consists of..

If meet time was at 7PM, we'd have to meet at 4PM -- so for me, that means I have to start getting ready at 2PM. Starting with makeup: gotta make sure the eyes make me look like a raccoon, eyeliner is sharp enough to cut someone, brows on fleek, and highlight to the gods. Onto the hair: I'm curling it just to have it sweaty and ratted into a bird's nest by the end of pregame.. Sounds like fun right? Well it is actually one of my favorite things about being on a dance team. I do enjoy shaking my booty and waving to people that might not notice me because hey, we're here to watch the Bearcats play some football.

So last Thursday, we played against UT-Martin. I know I know.. a Tennessee school & I should be rooting for them since that's where I'm from and all, but my heart belongs to the Bearcats. Slow start, but we ended up winning 28-7. So to say the least, football games are the best. Be sure to watch my game day vlog to see what we do before & during football games!
