Good morning, beauties! Another month has come and passed, and we're now in my favorite month, September. However, I used up a few products during August and we're here to talk about them.

Skin Care

Farmacy New Day Gentle Exfoliating Grains: I have mixed feelings about this product. It's a nice gentle exfoliator, but a bit too gentle for my liking. So, if you're into a very mild exfoliant, perhaps if you have sensitive skin, I would say this product would work. For others, like myself, who need a bit more happening, this was a miss.

LUSH Ayesha Fresh Face Mask: Blehhhhhh. This may be the first LUSH mask I just do not like at all. Right off the bat, the smell is pungent and smells of asparagus (one of the main ingredients). Plus, I find the consistency to fluctuate. When I rub it onto my face, some spots will have a sheer mask and other parts will have a thicker layer. Overall, I don't think this product did anything for my skin, and I recommend avoiding this particular mask.

L'Oreal True Match Blush (C1-2 Baby Blossom): I've had this blush for a while and finally used it up. This shade was a bit fair, so I don't think it appeared overly pigmented on my cheeks. I wouldn't purchase this particular shade again, though I am interested to see if other shades work better for me.

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara: My favorite mascara in a mini size. I can't say enough good things about this product! It lengthens your lashes well without clumping up, it doesn't smudge under the eyes, it wears well during the day, it holds a curl well. I'm a big supporter of drugstore mascaras, but every once in a while I just spring for this one because it's all I need.

Milani Brow Shaping Clear Wax Pencil: I've used this for months and months to fill in my brows. I'll swipe this on my brows, run a spooly through them, and add powder. As a note, less is more with this product. If you add too much, you'll see it clump up in your brows just a bit. Beyond that, it's a foolproof product and I recommend it to anyone!

NYX Single Shadow (True Taupe): When my hair was blonde, I used this shade on top of the Milani wax to fill in my brows. It worked well, but is now too light of a shade. The formula worked well in the brows, though. If you have NYX shadows (or any eyeshadows in general) I recommend doubling the purpose up and running it through your brows if the shade is right!

Hope you have a great start to September!
