Bare it all & go natural with my favorite makeup remover.

Scary stuff huh!! Most of us wouldn’t leave the house with at least something on. I am so guilty of this!!! Although, I am quite proud of my self as I have got it down to just brow pencil and mascara.

Makeup free days are essential, not only does it give your skin a break; it helps us to stay connected to who we really are and what’s going on in our body. Your face can tell a thousand stories of what your body actually needs so if we are reaching for band aid beauty solutions we are headed for real trouble. If you are constantly covering up your truth you are disconnecting from yourself, creating a false reality and maybe, causing existing health problems to worsen.

When you look in the mirror and see yourself looking tired and stressed do you immediately book in your next Botox appointment? What about when you have a breakout do you start looking for your foundation with extra coverage?

Your face is the first place to show stress and tiredness, does Botox make you feel less stressed and tired? Does it stop all the health issues related to being stressed and tired? What would happen if you scheduled in a day off, maybe a massage, yoga or meditation class instead? You can make yourself look fresher and younger by de-stressing without loosing yourself, covering up reality and doing long-term harm to your body. What about your skin? Do you keep using high coverage foundation to cover up all the blemishes, dullness or redness? What about clearing your skin from the inside, balancing your hormones or detoxing. Wouldn’t that be better in the long run?

So with that in mind I thought I would share with you my favorite makeup remover of all time! I was given it as a present from a very special person and have fallen in love with it.

Trilogy – Make-up Be Gone Cleansing Balm with rosehip, mango and coconut.

Just take about a quarter of a teaspoon in your fingers and lightly rub in a circular motion all over your face. Go over your lashes too, it removes mascara brilliantly, including waterproof mascara! It comes with a super soft organic cotton cloth, just run this under warm water to remove the balm and your makeup from your face. Is it so soothing and leaves your skin feeling clean, hydrated and nourished. It is packed with rich goodness of essential oils such as Sunflower seed oil, Olive fruit oil, Coconut oil, Mango seed butter, Rosehip and Camilla seed oil. Vitamin E to heal and Chamomile to soothe. It has become my nightly ritual, I actually look forward to it and secretly have been known to rub a little on my elbows, feet or any dry patches I have. It is such a softening soothing treat.

So I dare you to go bare and reconnect with yourself and where you are. Should we be embracing and accepting our age and imperfections instead of fighting them and hiding them? Are you comfortable with you, perfectly imperfect?
