Dear Reader,

You can be BOLD.

Evangelism in not an option in the life of a believer.

Do I need to say it again? Evangelism is not an option; it is a lifestyle; it is not a choice, it is a necessity.

Why do I say this?

Do you believe that Jesus is the one true savior, whom saved us from an eternal life separated from God by dying for us on the Cross, and who rose again three days later? (Luke 24:6-7 "He is not here, He has risen! Remember how he told you while you were with him in Galilee; the Son of man must be handed over to the hands of sinners, be crucified, and on the third day be raised from the grave-")  If you believe this, you should also know that through him SAVING us, that we should be BOLD.

Romans 1:16 - " For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. "

Lets think for a moment, are you ashamed of the gospel? Are you ashamed to bring up the fact that you've been saved through grace and faith to those who have not heard? We are God's children; how couldn't we want the next person to be a child of God as well? God has a furious longing for each and everyone of us. If you are ashamed to speak of this love he gives us, this grace; you need to reevaluate your walk with our Father. We should want everyone to know, we should want everyone to be saved! How wonderful would it be to hear the words of our Father to everyone's ears.

God has given the believers a mission. Do you know this mission of ours? Here it is below.

Acts 13:57 - "For this is what the Lord has commanded us: 'I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.'"

Re-read that a few times and grasp the words.

We will never fully understand this commandment. But, what we understand is that we must be willing to drop everything, (Luke 9:23), leave behind our earthly desires, and follow him. We must be willing to drop every relationship, every object, every desire, to spread the way of his love. The moment of your baptism, this is the moment where you have died of flesh, and been reborn of spirit. When you breathe your first breath of air once you've been reborn, this is a breathe that commands us to tell others, to go to the ends of the earth to tell of his great love.

Mark 16:15 - "He said to them, 'Go into the all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.'"

So, what does God say all the world is? This doesn't mean to each geographical place on the earth, this means our neighbors, this means our work place, this means our family, this means our government, this means other people in villages, this means people without a written language. This is personal.

Personal is subjective to each ones own. To me, personal is my family, my neighbors, the person out on the street, my church family, and my neighbors of the world. To me, personal is knowing hundreds of people die without the word of the Lord, the grace of God. This is personal.

Acts 20:24 - "However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me - the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace."

So, we must give up our prides, our possessions, and we must push ourselves out there in anyway possible. We each have different plans and purposes, but we share a common goal as children of God; to share the gospel to all people who have not heard his name.

This includes more than you think; as you walk down the street, the person who you are driving next to, the person who checks you out at the store; some of these people, have never even heard of Jesus, even if you are in the bible belt of the Nation. You can never assume someone has heard God's grace simply because you have, or it might be popular where you live.

So, when it boils down to our daily task, here is what we can do, we can develop a relationship with that person and tell them about God's grace and salvation, we can invite them to church, we can share our testimonies, and we can pray.

We must pray.

We must follow God's plan.

We must be BOLD.

Dear reader, go out and be bold. Go follow our command. Go love on the people of this earth.

Love y'all!
