I thought I belonged somewhere
Between those lovely arms
But I was barely hanging
Clinging in their tight t-shirt
I wasn’t the rich man to know
I wasn’t poor enough to dream
I only saw what they let me
I could see, I was everything
Even in their songs I could sing
In their dance I could swing
And she would float around me
As she whispered, I was loved
Who loved nothing but dreams
Dreams were better than reality
Till I was tripped by her feet
And only her whiff holded me.
