hello awesome people,

today’s post is a bit different from the usual ones because i’m doing a Bible Art journaling. I’m gonna walk you through the steps of doing one. this is not a perfect one cause i’m not a pro at it but things will get better when we try.

Anyways, enough of that rant there 😛

P.S: the images that i’ve got are from Pinterest. i don’t own or take credit for any of the images included here.

okay… on we go…

I chose the theme W.A.I.T.I.N.G because i’m waiting for God’s plan to be unveiled in my life. sometimes it gets hard to trust and have faith in God when nothing happens in our lives. Faith will die if we don’t believe God or His timing. So, i was so worried about everything like my project, future, dreams, etc., that’s when God reminded me to trust Him. I chose to trust because i knew, i knew, i knew that He is G.O.O.D and He K.N.O.W.S what He is doing.

i arranged some pictures related to the theme and i took a printout of them.

then, i cut them out. one page was full of color pictures and the other was black and white.

i took my journal book and arranged them how i wanted them. it was tough coming into conclusions 😛

below are some of the things i used in this project.

you see an envelope there???? yes, i didn’t have a small one to place some of the quotes in it, so i made it myself.

D.I.Y Envelope.

the measurements are just random and it’s not even. ( 😛 okay, let’s just leave the dimensions ) i wanted a small one, so the dimensions are small. you can choose your convenient measurements or can buy one from the store 😛 (that’s not helping, i know)

then i glued the two sides of 2.5 cm folding one over the other. actually, since both were 2.5 cm, i was not able to stick them together. but i folded one of the sides more than 2.5 cm,(say 2.8 cm) and voila! it worked. i then glued the bottom and it was ready. DIY envelope.

i placed some prints inside the envelope and sealed it with a tape.

i took some color papers for the background. i chose brown, violet and yellow. i tore them with hands to give an edge. i star dusted the papers with white watercolor. also, forget my watercolor palette. its awful.

i love the way how it turned out. its amazing actually. i used the tapping the brush over the other brush method and it worked. yay!!!

i stuck the pictures and quotes and was ready for doodling.

okay… guys that’s the final picture. if you are reading this, you made it! thanks for sticking  and reading this “super super ultra long, picture loaded post”.

If you are waiting on God for something, don’t give up. God is still working behind the scenes. Enjoy the small little things. Breathe in. Go for a walk. Watch the night sky.
i promise they’ll make you happy.

~✧・゚: * Have a blessed productive weekend *:・゚✧~
