Hello Green beauties...

Today I want to share with you the recipe of one of my well-loved skin care DIY: it is a black charcoal cleansing balm! This DIY is targeted for skins that need to be deeply cleansed and purified, that 's why I add to may recipe some ingredients that are very beneficial for this type of skin.

The base of my recipe it is the  Make up cleansing balm and Clay cleansing balm that you guys seems to adore ( find recipes here and here) plus some new extra ingredients.

The recipe
  • for 100 gr of product
  • 50 gr of coconut oil
  • 15 gr of shea butter
  • 35 gr of mild soap
  • 2 tsp of black charcoal powder
  • 1 tsp of rhassoul clay
  • 10-20 drops of essential oils I opted for tea tree and lemon

Melt your oil and butter together in a bowl, then add soap, black charcoal and rhassoul, stir  well.

Put the bowl in the fridge for five minutes. Mix with an electric whisker for 1 o 2 minuts, then put the mixture back in the fridge. Repeat this last step for 3-4 times. Ad essential oils

What you want to do is to incorporate air in the product while coconut oil and shea butter retakes their solid forms, that's the secret for a balmy balm.

Voilà your amazing charcoal cleansing balm!!

This cleansing balm have a nice buttery consistency and melt easily on the skin. It is very beneficial for oily or acne prone skin because black charcoal draws out impurities and dirt from the pooresrhaussoul clay has natura detergent proprieties that will deeply cleanse the skin without irritating it. Tea tree and lemon oil are known to cure oily and acne prone skin

P.S. this cleansing balm it is to be used only on to remove face makeup, keep away from the eyes!! definitely you don't want to put essential oils and clay in your eyes!!

Hope you likeed this DIY
