Hello Green Beauties! Sorry for the long absence, my personal life has gone through a tunnel of hell so I felt the need to take a break from my blog. After 2 weeks,  I'm not still completely OK, but you know what...life goes on and my blog, which is a huge motivation for me, has to be back on track.

So Hey, what's better than a DIY to welcome my come back ?!

Here's a topic that I love: blush!

For me blush is a life compaction saver, my pale dull skin is dramatically transformed (in a positive way) with a masterly dose of blush. Has a dry skin gal, cream blushes are the perfect formula for me because they are able to ensure moisture, as long as a nice pinkish flush, to my cheeks.

Most often Drugstore cream blushes are filled with nasty ingredients such mineral oils and harsh chemicals, that's why it's important to choose natural organic alternatives to ordinary makeup in order to avoid that these bad ingrediets sit on top of your skin all day long.

If, like me, you like to mess up with DIY makeup cream blushes are super easy to make on your own, you need just a few simple easy available ingredients.

  • 100% natural pigments or micas (you can also a compact blush ground down )
  • Beeswax
  • Organic oils and butter (I used Castor oil, Coconut oil, Shea butter)

Melt your oils with the beeswax, then add the pigments. Stir well and let it cool in the refrigerator.

Proportions of oils and wax are essential: in your concoction, you just need 25% of beeswax as an emulsifier and 75% of oils or butter.  If you opt for a thick solid butter like Shea or Cocoa butter keep in mind to decrease slightly the amount of beeswax. For what concerns pigments, in this case, the proportions are entirely up to your taste, in fact, variation may influence the pigmentation of your blush.
