Book Review: Stormy Night--Salina Yoon Like 0 Twitter Sarah BooksBeforeBandaids Follow July 13, 2016, 10:09 a.m. in Entertainment Views: 805 Like us on facebook We received some wonderful bookish mail today as part of the summer book exchange set up by @spiky_penelope over on Instagram. Salina Yoon’s sweet story Stormy Night is book two in the Bear and Bunny series. When a frightening thunder storm starts during the night, Bear tries to comfort himself and Floppy, his toy bunny, by singing his parents' special song. Luckily Mama comes and gives him a kiss and Papa comes to give him a tickle. Together they all read a story to Floppy and sing him a song when the thunder booms loudly. When the storm passes, everyone finally falls asleep. The colorful pictures are engaging and lively. I love how the pictures capture the mood so well; but my son is most drawn to the end papers of the book; the front shows the house in the rain with the lights on, but the back shows the house, lights off and the stars out.
