This past weekend was Boston Comic Con! Located at the Seaport World Trade Center, this con has been growing in numbers over the years, so it was exciting to see the turnout this time for sure. While we were only able to attend Day One on Friday, there were still so many amazing costumes, vendors and artists to see.

Pepe and I (casual) cosplayed as Jesse and Tulip from AMC's Preacher (based off the comic book series by Garth Ennis). As fans of the show, it was fun to somewhat be in the shoes of the characters we love. Plus, this was our first couple's cosplay, and it was a hit with the crowd (We are already planning our next pairing – Jyn Erso and Captain Cassian Andor from Rogue One)!

While Pokemon and Pokemon Go were the trending theme this year (respectively), there was still a variety of characters portrayed on Friday.

Among the many talented cosplayers, highlights included a badass team of Kylo Ren and a First Order Officer, Cobra Commander and a cosplayer with a stunning resemblance to Thor. Bonus XP – Pepe got me a Totoro from one of the vendors! <3 We can't wait to go to more cons and events in the upcoming year (someday we will make it to San Diego)!

Do you cosplay? Have you been or are you going to a con soon? Comment below with your stories, plans, thoughts and/or experiences!
