At Bottini Fuel, we care about your comfort. So, we are going to provide you with a few tips on how to make sure that our delivery drivers can make it to your house without delay. Tips During this time of year, we are extra diligent on making sure your tank is topped off, so you never have to spend a single second without heat. In order to make sure you have your delivery made on time and there are no delays, it is imperative that you take the following steps to help our drivers to make the necessary delivery. Please make sure that the path to your tank is free of snow. This means, if you live down a long driveway, you will need to have it plowed. Our trucks do not have the same four-wheel drive that your car has and can make it extremely difficult to go down long driveways that are full of snow. This also means that you will need to make sure the path is wide enough as well. Once on property, you will need to have a path cut to your tank as well. This may involve you needing to clear the path yourself. This path does not need to be as wide since our drivers have extra long hoses to make it from your front yard to the back if the situation warrants it. Even if we have been to your house hundreds of times before, we do happen to have new drivers every now and then. Additionally, your yard will look much different when it covered in a blanket of snow. Make sure that you take the time to mark the edges of your driveway to avoid any unexpected damage caused by our driver not being able to discern the width properly. If you have a snow removal company, this should be done already, but if not, you are going to need to put reflective markers up for us. Dragging a hose through thirty or forty feet of snow that is six or more inches deep can be quite the task. Please be respectful to your driver, as you are not the only house he will be servicing that day. Make sure to keep the snow down as if you were going to have to walk through it with several bags of groceries at the end of a long day of work. While most of our customers are on automatic delivery, you will need to only follow the above steps. If not, make sure that you are taking note of your fuel levels and contact us when it reaches the 30% level. This will allow the company time to schedule you a delivery and so you won’t run out. Conclusion Bottini Fuel cares about their customers and wants to make sure that your tank is always ready to go. Please follow the above steps to ensure your delivery is fast, easy, and on time, every time!
