I have started blogging few months back and I am so happy that MY Trending Stories approached me to join their blogging network. I believe for a starter this is a good achievement and a chance to grow more. Today I am sharing my blog post which I published during Ramadan about Bourjois Rouge Velvet Edition. As they are my favorite product so thought of starting here with my favorite post :) So here it goes I have been so lazy during the past few days since Ramadan has started which means less sleeping and more working but finally managed to take time out today to write my thoughts out. Just before the beginning of Ramadan had a chance to grab these beauties by Bourjois and add them into my makeup collection. I was really looking forward to try them out, so I bought two shades Honey Mood (16) and Cool Brown (17). I opted for lighter shades because 1. I wanted to have some nude shades in my collection 2. Because of the month of Ramadan I wanted to create very light makeup or no makeup look. I have always been afraid of trying nude shades as I have never been able to find a right shade for myself, having an Asian skin either I look very pale or it does not look good on me at all BUT thankfully to Bourjois Rouge Velvet Edition now it is possible for me to carry nude lip look. Bourjois has kept its packaging very sleek and cute. Like any other liquid lipstick these also comes with doe-foot applicator which is easy to handle and even if you are not a makeup pro you can easily apply and get good results. One thing you will notice is that there will be a slight difference in colors as compared to the packaging. The scent for me was not an issue but it can bother those who really concentrate on a product's scent. The texture is very soft, the velvety texture glides easily on the lips giving soft matte look. If you combine it with a lip liner you will get more better results for a matte look. It says it lasts for 24 hours but on me it lasts for about 3-4 hours and it does wear off after a meal or a drink so I had to re-apply when needed. It gave a smooth hydrating and fuller look to my lips and it does not feel heavy at all. Overall, I think this product is great for everyday use whether you want a natural look or a bold. They come in nice range of colorful 17 shades. Rouge Velvet Edition is priced at AED 79 and you can find it in Lifestyle / Centrepoint or Woojoh.
