Hey pixels!! Today’s recipe is an easy one. It takes almost no time but it’s wonderful. Cookies are always wonderful…

butter cookies 2

It’s only a short post: I know, I’m sorry but I am very busy lately😦

Actually this is one of this kind of recipes you can make with your children, if you have. They can help making the dough and decorating. Just be careful while using the oven.

And here is the recipe. I hope you’ll have fun making them!!

butter cookies 1

  • 125g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 375g flour
  • 75g powder sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • some colorful decoration
  • you’ll need: cookie cutters.

Preheat oven at 170ºC. Cover two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Beat the butter until fluffy. Add sugar and keep beating. After 3-4′, add vanilla.

Add the egg; mix well.

In two times, add flour. Mix until dough is firm enough to form the cookies; add some flour if you need it.

Make dough balls, flatten them using your hands. Make shapes using the cookie cutters. Sprinle some decoration on top.

Distribute your cookies on the baking sheets. Bake for 12-15′, or until golden brown.

And voilà!! Your cookies are ready!! Now you can enjoy them with a glass of cold milk.

Do you like cookies, my happy pixels? Why not instagram your own cookies?? Use the hashtag #thehappiestpixel.
