My family is obsessed with carrot cake. My cousin, Stacey, even had a carrot cake birthday cake instead of your good old fashioned chocolate cake. We would eat carrot cake over ANY other type of cake, big call I know.

There is something so delicious about carrot cake, the subtle sweetness of the carrots, the crunch from walnuts and the many spices you can taste. It really is a delicious cake, especially if your not a big cake eater or into sweet foods.

I was missing out on carrot cake and decided that mum and I could find a way to make healthy ones, can't be that hard the cake really is carrot, walnuts, and spices after all. Carrot Cake Bliss Ball recipe was made. We decided to make them into bliss balls to make a perfect afternoon treat without over indulging and they fit perfectly in your bag to take to work or when off on an adventure. They are low in carbohydrates, dairy free, gluten free, raw, vegan and delicious!

Carrot Cake Bliss Balls
