I know, I know, the Marc Jacobs Stam has been in our hearts since it was originally created in 2006 for model Jessica Stam. I can see all you ladies right now shaking your heads simultaneously in disbelief because this is not a new bag, but here’s the thing…this is a fact that still remains, The Stam is absolutely timeless and just like those cute little emergency mints in your current bag, fashionable ladies of all ages should have this to their collection!

I would recommend this bag for anyone starting their designer collection but unsure of where to begin, as well as for the seasoned professional with closets of boxes and dust bags containing their delectable handbag goodies.

The diamond stitching on this bag is a polite nod to our Queen of Couture, Miss Coco Chanel, and the buttery soft leather practically melts when you touch it. The simple kisslock closure is reminiscent of the granny bags of a time now forgotten. The full free body can hold all our cell phones, our sunglasses, wallets, lotions and potions and the graceful top handle make it so very easy to drop onto your inner elbow as if you’ve always been in the know.

Top handle bags are so very ladylike and sweet, you almost feel like you've stepped back in time. Marc Jacobs revealed these gorgeous gum drops for a few years but never came up sour. Iconic and luxurious but still affordable, this is elegance that flows effortlessly from the boardroom straight to the wine bar.

My personal holiday favorite is the polished calfskin in bordeaux with a huge tassel on the front zipper as a bonus cherry on top. It really is a thing of beauty. Once you've conquered your black leather staple, the world is yours….go for the blush (very highly recommended) the patent, the starburst or maybe you will be lucky enough to find Crimson or Fuchsia from 2009 for a true statement piece.

Who knew that this genius could turn one bag into such a sweet adrenaline rush?
