A woman who does not claim the light of her own power is likely to be frightened by her shadow.

One thing that can be difficult for a woman is for her to boldly and freely claim her own power.  A woman may instead prefer to stand along the edge of her power, not wanting to attract attention.  Too many women almost seem to ask for permission before engaging from their powerful center.

In some ways, we have been encouraged to be this way.  "Directness" in a woman is still met with suspicion.  To stand on the edge, though, keeps one in the shadows.

It is only when we own our power that we claim the light and not the shadows.
