Clay Marzo was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome, a mild form of Autism, in December 2007. With this diagnosis came a new perspective for Clay and in the years since, embracing Asperger's Syndrome has allowed his surfing to flourish, making Clay one of the most highly respected free - surfers on the planet.

Clay believes that by embracing your passion other members of the Autistic community and family can help to improve the quality of life for others living with Asperger's Syndrome and other forms of Autism. Clay discussed the idea of a signature model and artwork on a recent photo shoot, he is a huge LA Lakers fan so we thought we could bring his signature model to life by combining his two passions into one logo, he was stoked with the final design said James Robbinson, Carve Sunglasses Creative Director.
