Rarely does the feeling come alive
Where the towers bend, long,
Boats sing on the harbor
And exchange bellows in the air
With every mile of road
Comes another bright star
Strung upon the light poles
Until the whole city shines bright
Full of the life of others
As a jubilant hum, the city rejoices aloud
Celebrating the life inside of it
Becoming part of the enlightened machine.
