I was out walking the other day.  The sky was almost cloudless and everything above me was the most beautiful blue.  It was probably the same blue it always is, but for some reason I had to stop and stare at it.  It was breathtaking.  Then I started thinking of the other colours of creation.  The red, purple and oranges of a sunset.  The complete spectrum in a rainbow.  The green of a forest in the summer.  The yellow of daffodils in the spring.  The myriad of colours in a field of wildflowers in full bloom.  The pure white of snow.  The vast array of colours is almost incomprehensible to my mind.  To science they may merely be different wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum, but to me they are a marvel of God and His creation.

It got me wondering.  In heaven will there be more colours?  I like to think there will be more.  Heaven has to be more beautiful than earth because heaven is perfect while earth is not.  Psalms 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.” (KJV)
